If you didn’t know, shortly after the Covid lockdown began, I began to learn to play ukulele. It’s a great little instrument and I have had a lot of fun learning it. I can play a couple dozen songs pretty well and have even found a local Ukulele club to hang out with from time to time.
Well, on Saturday, February 26th from 4:00pm – 5:30 pm ukulele artists Dani Joy and Perry Stauffer are returning to Aliante to perform after almost 2 years and tickets are only $20.

Formerly based in California, Dani Joy is a singer/songwriter who now lives in Oregon. Her world-influenced style is soothing and romantic, blending vintage jazz with Latin rhythms and original music. She is most noted for her crooning alto vocals and tasteful fingerpicking ukulele accompaniment.
Perry Stauffer has been a staple of the Nevada City/Grass Valley music scene in the beautiful gold country of Northern California. He enjoys recreating old time swing music with ukulele and upright bass with Dani Joy.
